How a laser screed works
A rotating laser transmitter set at the edge of the pour broadcasts a level reference plane across the slab. A receiver on the screed head reads that plane continuously and feeds height error to the control system, which corrects the head many times per second. The head does three jobs in one pass: it spreads and meters the concrete, vibrates it to consolidate, and strikes off the surface to grade.
Because the reference is optical rather than a physical form or wet screed rail, the machine holds level across large open bays without the labour of setting and pulling screed guides. Both machines control to a flat plane, a single slope or a double slope, which covers drainage falls in warehouse aprons and washdown areas.

The floor decides the machine.
