The Jamshedji walk behind laser screed machine is a Honda petrol powered laser-guided concrete levelling machine with a 2,600 mm vibration width, handling slabs up to 150 mm thick at 325 kg. Laser flatness where a ride-on cannot go

Not every industrial floor is an open deck. Mezzanine slabs, plant rooms, column-crowded corners, upper-floor pours and repair sections all need the same specified flatness as the main hall — but an 880 kg ride-on machine cannot be craned onto a mezzanine or turned inside a tight column grid.

At 325 kg this machine can. It is light enough to lift between floors and narrow enough to work into confined bays, while still running the same microelectronic laser scanning control, with flat, slope and double-slope capability. So the awkward areas get laser-levelled rather than falling back on hand screeding and a visible difference in the finished floor.

Frequency-conversion proportional control on the vibration plate means the machine adjusts consolidation to the concrete rather than running flat out, which matters on thinner slabs where over-vibration causes segregation.

Choose by bay size and access, not by budget. This walk-behind covers 2,600 mm, handles slabs to 150 mm and weighs 325 kg — the machine for mezzanines, plant rooms, confined bays, upper floors and repair pours.

The ride on laser screed machine covers 3,000 mm, handles slabs to 300 mm and works at 300–500 sqm per hour on four-wheel drive — the machine for large open warehouse and logistics decks. Both are Honda petrol powered, and many flooring contractors run the two together: the ride-on takes the open field, the walk-behind takes everything it cannot reach.

Once the slab is levelled, finishing follows with a ride on trowel or a dual speed power trowel, with a 600 mm edger for the perimeter.
