Why petrol changes what sites the mixer works on

A construction site in early stages usually has no power connection yet — foundations go in before the meter does. Refurbishment work on the road, remote plot boundaries, greenfield sites and infrastructure projects at scale all have the same problem: there is nowhere to plug in.

Petrol removes that constraint. The mixer runs the same 240-litre tilting drum at the same 28 rpm as the electric machine — but it does so without a supply line, a generator, or a trailing cable. You get consistent batch quality from the first pour of the day to the last, on ground where an electric machine would not run at all.

The Lifan engine is a deliberate choice: single-cylinder petrol engines are simple to start and service, and Lifan parts are readily available across India, so a shift is not lost waiting for a replacement carburettor.

Petrol or electric — how to choose

Same drum capacity and drum speed on both machines. The choice is about the site power supply.

This petrol mixer when there is no supply on site — remote plots, temporary works, ground-clearing sites, external repairs on the highway. A trailing cable is not practical there.

The electric mini concrete mixer when the site has 220 V single-phase mains. It costs less to run per batch, is quieter, produces no exhaust, and works safely inside partly enclosed spaces where a petrol engine is not permitted.

Where it is used

Greenfield residential plots before the electricity connection is live, road and highway repair work in the field, remote plot foundations, external plaster and mortar batching, temporary and emergency works, and any project where hauling out a generator to run an electric mixer costs more than the mixer itself.
