Petrol or electric — how to choose

Jamshedji supplies this cutter in two forms, and the blade size is the same on both. The choice is simply about the power supply where you are working.

Take the petrol machine when there is no electricity on site — road and highway work, external paving, open ground, remote locations, and anywhere the machine has to keep moving along a line of cut with no cable behind it. On roadworks in particular a trailing cable is not practical.

Take the electric concrete cutter when the site has a supply. It saves fuel, runs quieter and produces no exhaust, so it also suits enclosed areas and indoor slabs where a petrol engine cannot be run.

Same cut, different power source. Contractors working across both conditions often keep one of each.
