Capacity and motor. The GW42 bends up to 32 mm on a 3 kW / 4 HP motor and weighs 350 kg. The GW50 bends up to 40 mm on a 5 kW / 6.5 HP motor and weighs 420 kg. Choose on the largest bar diameter in your bar bending schedule — there is no reason to pay for the GW50 if you never exceed 32 mm.
What power supply does the GW50 need?
415 V three-phase. The motor draws 5 kW (6.5 HP) at 1440 rpm, so confirm your site DG set or panel can carry the starting load before delivery.
