Welding Machine 300 XL – 300A ARC Inverter, Single Phase
Welding Machine 300 XL – 300A ARC Inverter, Single Phase
The 300 XL is a 300 A ARC (stick/MMA) inverter welding machine running on 220 V single-phase supply. It carries the highest welding current in the Jamshedji ARC welder range, yet runs on an ordinary single-phase connection — the machine to reach for when you need serious output but only have single-phase power. Single PCB design for straightforward maintenance.
Key specifications at a glance
- Welding current: 300 A
- Input voltage: 220 V AC
- Phase: single phase
- Process: ARC / MMA (stick)
- Board: single PCB design
How to choose a welding machine by amperage
An ARC welder is chosen mainly on one number: the welding current it can put out. That current sets how thick a section you can weld and how large an electrode you can run. More amperage lets you burn a bigger rod and drive heat deeper into thick steel; less amperage is easier to control on thin material and draws less power. Every machine in this range does the same job — manual metal arc welding on steel, and other metals — and the choice between them is how much current you need and what power supply you have.
At 300 A the 300 XL gives the most welding current in the range, for the thickest sections and the largest electrodes. Its distinguishing feature is that it delivers that current on a 220 V single-phase supply — so a site or workshop without three-phase power can still run a high-output machine. It uses a single PCB rather than the multi-board design of the dual-voltage machines, which keeps the internals simpler to service.
Which welder in the range
The whole range is ARC welding machines; pick by welding current and the power you have.
- 300 X-Bravo — 180 A, 220/380 V: general fabrication, repair and site work; single or three phase.
- ARC 322 — 220 A, 220/380 V: heavier sections; single or three phase.
- X-Bravo — 250 A, 220/380 V: heavy fabrication; single or three phase.
- ARC 400 — 270 A, 380 V three phase: heavy-duty industrial welding, three-phase only.
- This 300 XL — 300 A, 220 V single phase: the highest current in the range, on a single-phase supply.
Applications
Heavy steel fabrication, structural and site welding, industrial and construction work, repair and maintenance on steel, aluminium and other metals — where high output is needed on a single-phase supply.

Frequently asked questions
What is the welding current of the 300 XL?
300 A — the highest in the range, for the thickest sections and largest electrodes.
What power supply does it need?
220 V single-phase supply. It is the high-output machine for sites and workshops without three-phase power.
How is it different from the ARC 400?
Both are high-current machines. The 300 XL gives 300 A on single-phase 220 V; the ARC 400 gives 270 A on three-phase 380 V. Choose by the power supply you have.
What does single PCB mean?
It uses a single printed circuit board rather than the multi-board layout of the dual-voltage machines, which keeps the internals simpler to service.
What can it weld?
Steel, aluminium and other metals by the ARC (stick / MMA) process.
What is the price of the 300 XL welding machine?
Send your requirement on WhatsApp for a GST-inclusive quotation including freight.
