Threading Machine Rollers 25-32mm – P3.0 Pitch, CDRG45 Spare

This is the 25–32 mm threading roller set for the CDRG45 bar threading machine — covering 25 mm to 32 mm rebar at P3.0 thread pitch, supplied as 3 sets of rollers in a storage case. The rollers are what actually form the thread, so they are the wearing tooling of the machine and are replaced when thread quality drops.

For smaller bar, use the 16–22 mm roller set (P2.5 pitch). Between the two sets you cover the machine's working range.

What it does and when to replace it

A bar threading machine forms a parallel thread onto the end of a rebar so that two bars can be joined with a mechanical coupler instead of a lap splice. The thread is not cut away in one pass — it is rolled and formed by hardened rollers pressing into the rotating bar. Each bar diameter needs rollers matched to it, and the thread pitch has to match the coupler being used. This set covers the larger diameters at the coarser P3.0 pitch that heavier bar requires.

Replace the rollers when threads start coming out shallow, ragged or inconsistent, when couplers become tight or reluctant to run on, or when you can see wear or chipping on the roller profile. Larger bar means more material displaced per thread, so these rollers work harder than the small-diameter set. Thread quality is what the strength of the joint depends on, so worn rollers are a structural issue — the coupler connection is only as good as the thread under it.
