The Portable Bar Cutting Machine is a lightweight, single-phase electric rebar cutter that cuts TMT bars from 4 mm to 32 mm and is carried to the work, rather than the work being carried to it. Why portable, and where it fits

A full workshop cutter like the GQ45 is a heavy 415 V three-phase machine: it sits in a cutting yard, needs a three-phase connection, and the bar is brought to it. That is the right tool when there is a fixed fabrication area and three-phase power.

This portable cutter answers a different problem. It is light enough for two people to move, and it runs on ordinary single-phase supply — the power you actually have on most floors and smaller sites. That makes it the tool of choice for redevelopment and increased-FSI projects, where cutting has to happen floor by floor in an occupied or constrained building, on elevated slabs, and in confined spaces a bench machine and its three-phase supply cannot reach. You carry the cutter to the steel instead of hauling steel down to a yard.
