Concrete Vibrator Needle 60mm x 6m – Mass Concrete
Concrete Vibrator Needle 60mm x 6m – Mass Concrete
This is the 60 mm × 6 m needle for a concrete vibrator — the poker head and 6 metre flexible shaft that attaches to a needle vibrator drive and goes into the wet concrete. At 60 mm it is a heavy-duty needle: the large head consolidates a wide radius per insertion, so it works fast through mass concrete, big foundations and deep pours. The 6 m shaft gives full reach into deep sections.
Fits
This needle attaches to the Jamshedji needle vibrator drives — the 7.5 HP petrol, 6 HP petrol and 3 HP single-phase electric drives, all of which accept 60 mm dies. A larger needle asks more of the drive, so the more powerful petrol drives are the better match for continuous heavy work. The portable 950 W and 1300 W units take only their own built-in 35 mm needle. Send your drive model on WhatsApp if you need the pairing confirmed.
What it does and which pour it suits
The needle is the working end of a vibrator system: the drive spins it, and its high-frequency vibration liquefies the surrounding concrete so trapped air rises out and the mix flows tight around the bars. It is a wear part — head and shaft abrade in wet concrete and are replaced when the head wears or the shaft stiffens or fails.
The 60 mm diameter is for mass concrete: large foundations, thick rafts, big columns and heavy pours where the reinforcement is open enough to take a large head. The wide head means each insertion consolidates a bigger radius, so a big pour is finished in fewer insertions and less time. On congested steel a 60 mm head will not pass between the bars, and there a 35 mm is the tool; the 60 mm earns its place on open, high-volume concrete.
Needle sizes in the range
- 35 mm × 6 m — congested rebar, narrow sections, thin walls
- 50 mm × 4 m and 50 mm × 6 m — general slabs and beams
- 60 mm × 4 m and 60 mm × 6 m (this needle) — heavier mass concrete
- 70 mm × 6 m — the largest pours

Frequently asked questions
Which drive does this needle fit?
The Jamshedji 7.5 HP and 6 HP petrol drives and the 3 HP single-phase electric drive, all of which take 60 mm dies. A large needle asks more of the drive, so the petrol units suit continuous heavy work best.
When should I use a 60 mm needle?
For mass concrete — large foundations, thick rafts, big columns and high-volume pours with open reinforcement. It consolidates a wide radius per insertion, so a big pour is done faster. For congested rebar, use the 35 mm instead.
4 m or 6 m — which do I need?
The 6 m reaches deep pours and columns; the 4 m is easier to handle on shallower mass slabs. Same 60 mm head — choose by depth.
Is the needle a wear part?
Yes. Head and flexible shaft abrade in wet concrete over time — replace when the head is worn or the shaft stiffens or fails.
What is the price of a 60 mm × 6 m vibrator needle?
Send your drive model on WhatsApp for current pricing and freight.
